My son is autistic and non-speaking. When he was four years old, we tried using flashcards to help him communicate and learn, but they just didn’t interest him. The one thing he loved was his iPad.
That gave me an idea. Instead of asking him to learn in a way that didn’t work for him, why not create something that did?
I built a simple app where he could tap pictures and words like “car,” “park,” and other everyday things he loved. Almost immediately, he started engaging with it. Seeing him enjoy learning and communicating through something he understood was a moment I’ll never forget.
As his confidence grew, I added educational games, visual routines, communication tools, and activities to support his development. Day by day, I watched him make progress in ways I hadn’t imagined.
That’s when I realised we couldn’t be the only family looking for something like this.
So I decided to share it with other parents, teachers, and therapists who support neurodivergent children.
Today, Neuro Kids Space is more than an app — it’s a platform built from a father’s love, inspired by one little boy who changed my life. Every feature has been created with real-life experience, patience, and hope that it can help other children discover their own way to communicate, learn, and thrive.
Because every child deserves to be understood.
